This week's RIDDIM & GROOVE cinematic classic is: "Eurocrime!" As the subtitle indicates, this excellent contemporary documentary portrays "the Italian Cop and Gangster Films that Ruled the 70's". Not only are these Poliziotteschi movies cult flicks from (mainly) the 1970's and usually center around hard-nosed cops individually seeking vangeance. They are also very often underlined by great soundtrack and motion picture score compositions and feature actors like Maurizio Merli or other legendary Spaghetti Western performers such as Tomás Milián or Franco Nero, the original Django. "Eurocrime!" definitely captures the style and flavor of this genre and era and is thus more than worth watching. Enjoy!
