Well, the second weekend of this year's international Butta 45's tour is in the books and it has been another great one for sure. On Friday, the Butta 45's squad jumped on the train and after a scenic six-hour ride arrived in beautiful Lausanne, Switzerland. The entire team of the Holy Groove festival made us feel welcome and we enjoyed great hospitality. Of course, the first thing we do is hit a record store, especially if there is a great one right in the same building of the club. The night itself was pure funk with St. Petersburg's own, The Soul Surfers, heating the place up before we dropped some fire on 45 rpm for an amazing crowd. When the party was finished in the early morning we went straight to Geneva airport to catch our flight all the way North to Hamburg, Germany. Having arrived at our hotel, which was located directly on the Reeperbahn in close proximity to our favorite venue in town, the legendary Mojo Club, we took a walk to get some fresh chilly air. Spinning at Mojo was superb as always, especially since people there are extremely professional and friendly, so nothing could go wrong. After another five hours of funk, soul, reggae and rare grooves it was finally time to get some rest before heading back home to Amsterdam, Köln and Marburg.
